Photo: exam of a flamingoA primary goal of the hospital is to provide unique educational programs for students and veterinarians. In her more than 14 years of teaching experience, Dr. Fish has developed student programs modeled on university internships in order to offer pre-veterinary, veterinary and veterinary technician students a formal, one-of-a-kind learning experience in bird medicine as it applies to a diverse array of species.

For veterinarians seeking to learn how to work on birds, Dr. Fish presents cutting-edge medical practices at veterinary conferences. These lectures are aimed at dispersing new information and training general veterinary practitioners in specialized methods for working with birds.
