Vinicio Mejia has collaborated with Dr. Latta on studies of birds in the Dominican Republic and Missouri for nearly 15 years. His recent efforts have focused on the ecology of the critically endangered Bay-breasted Cuckoo, and studies of the reproductive success of nesting birds in the Sierra de Bahoruco.
