Visitors to the National Aviary now have the opportunity to get to know some of the birds under treatment and the medical team that cares for them. Each day at 12:30 pm a veterinary staff member brings a patient to the atrium for the visitors to meet. The staff will tell them about the birds’ remarkable recovery and answer questions about the challenges of treating the unique species of birds living at the National Aviary.
